Questions homeowners ask us

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free and every one ends in a detailed written quote that itemizes scope, surfaces, prep, product and price so you can compare bids line by line.

How much does it cost to paint a house in Calgary?

It depends on prep, ceilings, trim and product, which is why we quote in person. As a rough market guide, Calgary interior repaints are commonly quoted between $2 and $4.50 per square foot. Your written quote sets the exact number before any work starts.

Do you help with colour selection?

Yes. A complimentary colour consultation is included with every job, so you choose colours with a professional instead of guessing from a chip in the store.

Do you paint stucco?

Yes. Calgary has a lot of stucco and we paint it. The grey-to-blue house in our work section above is a full stucco exterior we completed.

Do you stain fences and refinish decks?

Yes. The cedar fence and the deck you can see on this page are both our jobs. Stain protects the wood as well as making it look new again.

When is exterior painting season in Calgary?

Roughly May through early October, because overnight temperatures matter more than the calendar. Interiors we paint year-round, so winter is a great time to book inside work.

Can I stay in my home while you paint?

Yes, most clients do. We contain the work area, protect floors and furniture, and keep the rest of the home livable while we work.

Do I need to move my furniture first?

Leave the heavy pieces to us. We shift and cover furniture as part of setup, and we only ask that small valuables be put away before we arrive.

How do I book?

Call or text (403) 926-7202 and tell us what you want painted. We come out, walk the space with you, and you get a written quote. The $300 neighbourhood offer applies to qualifying NW Calgary projects booked by September 30.
